About The SRHOA
Saddle Ridge Subdivision is our home. Nestled in the rolling Northern Kentucky hills, it's our refuge and escape from the everyday hustle and bustle that defines modern life.
The Saddle Ridge Home Owners Association (SRHOA) is the governing body for the Saddle Ridge Subdivision. SRHOA is a Not-For-Profit Kentucky Corporation organized for the benefit and protection of those individuals who own property within the subdivision.
Directors (also called Trustees) are elected by the general membership to serve a one year term as provided by the Bylaws of the Corporation and the Directors in turn appoint Officers and Committees to serve for the same period of one year. The Association Officers are: President, one or more Vice-Presidents, a Secretary and a Treasurer. The Corporation Bylaws allow Directors to also serve as Officers of the Association or Members of the Design and Review Board (DRB) if such dual positions are determined to be in the best interest of the SRHOA by a majority of the Board of Directors or if not enough association members volunteer to serve.
There are many committees, both permanent and semi-permanent, and association members are encouraged to serve.
Of all the committees, none is more important that the Design and Review Board (DRB). The Directors appoint association members to the DRB - which is a permanent committee that oversees all facets of design, construction and association rules using the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R) plus the Builder's Guide and Resident's Guide as reference documents.
Saddle Ridge is a Restricted Community meaning certain standards must be maintained by all property owners. The CC&R codifies these rules and exists so that property values will remain as high as possible for the common good of all SRHOA members. The CC&R contains design & construction rules plus rules of conduct that apply to all property owners. The CC&R is a part of every subdivision deed.
Both current and prospective residents of Saddle Ridge are encouraged to contact the Directors, Officers or members of the DRB with any questions they may have about any aspect of the CC&R, Builder's Guide or Resident's Guide. Also, the full text of the CC&R, Builder's Guide and Resident's Guide is posted on the Resources page.
The names of members of the Board of Directors, Officers and DRB members are provided on the Contacts page of the website. There's a link on that same page that provides direct communication with the Directors, Officers, DRB Chairman and the site's webmaster.
